[MC] Forum Layouts expands XenForo’s default forum index with two purpose-built forum layouts: Fluid view and Card view. These are directly inspired by Invision Community 5’s forum layouts

This looks amazing. For the fluid layout, are a user's node filter selections sticky (do they persist across visits)?

Yes it does.

Forum filter: Click a forum to narrow the feed; click a category to select all forums underneath. State persists via cookie, so the feed is the same next time members visit.

  • Bugfix: Add missing 'js-inlineModContainer' class in comfortable density for fluid view
  • Improvement: Per-node options for either view are now hidden when card view or fluid view is disabled
  • Improvement: Layout toggle for table view is no longer present when fluid view or card view are disabled

Amazing plugin! Unfortunately, it adds breadcrumbs to the home page even when I have that disabled in my theme, so I can't use it. Could this be patched??

I have one last issue. I don't see the layout toggle buttons, despite having that enabled. This issue is on the default theme too. Is there a setting I might have missed?

Also, would it be possible for trending content to be displayed in fluid view instead of new posts? That might be a cool future update!

The layout toggle is gated behind a user permission, make sure that's enabled.

As for the trending content, I'll look into but, but it's designed to be a forum index replacement, not anything else.

  • Improvement: Add dedicated class to layout toggles button group to make it easier to target
  • Improvement: Added mc-fl-layoutToggleBar class to the outer button group to make it easier to target across templates
  • Bugfix: Fix forum filter mobile modal from being hidden by sticky navigation. Mobile modal now uses z-index 900;

In fluid mode, is the widget restricted to the left side? Is there no option for a sidenav?

If I use the block grid for the articles, it keeps this visualization, doesn't it?
