Maybe dumb question

If you do not have a license, you should not be developing XenForo add ons or styles, so you should not have any questions pertaining to that.

Whilst it's true that only associated forum accounts can post in the customer forums, there have been threads here in Off Topic and Pre Sales related to development.

What was it in particular you wanted to ask?
I'm sure someone will be able to help.

So if someone who has a license pays me to make a mod for them on their test board, I can't?
In that case the license owner can add your forum account to their customer account which will give you full access to the customer forums.

License owners can add up to 4 forum accounts.

I will probably have a "barrage" of development questions and now that I think about it, it maybe better if I wait until I save up for the license. Otherwise I will have many topics in the wrong forum. Downside to that is, licensed customers will have to wait on my mods.

I'll add you to my license - give it 10-15 mins and it should be active.

Once you get your own license, PM me and I'll remove you from mine.

Cheers,
Shaun :D
