Making specific attachments only visible to members

One of my sites got a copyright infringement notice for some pictures that have been up since 2009 and are supposedly only for onlyfans. I belive the company in question just uses ai to scrape sites with content that contains the specicif name so I am appealing it but I would like to hide those images to guests until the situation is resolved. Is this possible? I want the thread still visible but not the pictures.

happens a lot these days. would get copyright strike on movie threads that have official posters and youtube trailers from official channels. maybe they are not happy with posters being shared on third party sites. i move them to a private sub-forum which is accessible to logged in users. one time i got a copyright strike from a company that was formed 5-6 years ago and they complained about a discussion from 2009 which had absolutely nothing related to that company. i have given up responding. i just move them to a private node so they remain available to logged in members and is accessible through search.

basically i do not think you can restrict visibility of some attachments to members without having the threads part of a private node. maybe someone else has a better solution for this case.

I know I could do that but this thread ranks very well and brings in traffic. I do not want to make it private. I figured I would put it out there and see if anyone has a solution. Thanks
