Currently if a guest dismisses a notice or accepts the cookie warning, the setting is stored in a session cookie.
So every time guests visit the site they have to acknowledge all notices and cookie warnings again and again even if they already accepted the notices.

Wouldn't it be more convenient to store the settings in a cookie with a larger expiration time, like 90 days? Preferably configurable from the admin interface.

It seems that this has been implemented?!
Ok, not the configurable part, but at least it is stored in a cookie for guests.
Anyone knows since when? ... probably since 2.1?
