MG 2.1 m4a Files on MG

I have some audio files that I want to upload to XFMG and they are not mp3. They're .m4a

I added the file extension but it still wont let me upload that kind of file

I would like to upload an m4a file to MG as well, is that possible?

Only mp3 files are supported without transcoding.

For other formats., FFmpeg can be used to transcode to mp3.

You can enable FFmpeg at admin.php?options/groups/xfmg/

I also found I could upload m4a as an attachment to a post by adding that file suffix to the permitted list
