Loving my SSD, how do I clone my Windows install on to it?

At your advise I got an SSD and I love it. How do I clone my Windows install on to it? People just tell me to rip a new version but I don't like to pirate things.

I bought a kit at Best Buy and have been using it to replace the primary hardrives on all of our PCs. It is essentially a bootable CD with a special cable that plugs into a USB 2/3 port, when it is done cloning your drive you just crack open your PC and swap the drive.

Did you buy a Samsung SSD? If so, they include cloning (data migration) software for their SSDs: http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/download/tools.html

If not, you could use something like Macrium Reflect (you should definitely look at some youtube videos before going this route though):

The kit isn't needed if you have a spare SATA port to use inside your computer case.

Depending on the brand you purchase, it should include tools in which it will help you clone your drive.
