XF 2.2 Looking for 'new posts' widget that lets you filter for custom fields

Does this exist somewhere I'm not seeing? The default New Posts widget doesn't let you do this. I checked out @Siropu's Recent Posts 2 add-on, which also doesn't appear to support this. Is there an easy solution out there?

If you can tell exactly what kind of filtering you plan to do, perhaps I can help you create a custom template code.

You could use a Search Forum to do the filtering and call that into the widget.
