XF 1.1 Logo drops below navbar on IE

a week ago the forum gardenerscorner.co.uk moved to xenforo

a large group of the membership uses some version of IE

however yesterday (with no theme work having been performed) it began acting stranegly on ie and dropping the logo down lower

this thread here has screenshots and the issue in full

any suggestions to how to fix it?

Which version of IE is that?

It also looks like the compatibility view has been set in the browser - ask the member in question to revert that.

not sure what version they used, i tested on an old ie7 and it looked that way

i'll however ask them for the browser info

if only someone could package you in an add-on format

i'm sure most xenforo admins would install it
