The width should be tweaked a bit, so that the wording for "Your name or email address" is shown in 1 line, not breaking into 2 lines.

The style is responsive now and various changes have been made to accommodate that so wrapping is going to occur in lots of areas it previously did not.

The forms are much more flexible now so it will happen at some point. As the wordings are not static, it's inevitable.

isn't there a chance to differentiate between "mobile style" and the style when you are sitting in front of a PC ?

The underling framework has to support mobile devices and the responsive functionality.
Hence the change.
