XF 2.1 log-in as admin and halted prior to making board active

I was ask to do some work for my daughter and for 6 months have had the board closed with a note saying such. I am finishing her poetry site and checked into Xenforo. There was one new member and 15 requests. 14 were spams from one site and 1 spam from another. I can scrub the db and do a new install. I will eMail the new person. The others are not available. I am OK until Aug 1, 2020 for support.

Answered my own ? Or does anyone note a problem?

What is the actual problem?

Spam registrations are part of running a site - just use the spam cleaner on them.

Can't access admin area to do anything.

I log in then log onto admin (left column showing options, etc is showing. Main part of screen is showing the message that the board is down. Can't get past it.

It looks like the site is in an upgrade state.

Navigate to your URL/community/install/index.php?upgrade/ and you should be able to complete it.

If you still have issues, submit a ticket and we'll look into it.
