Jake Bunce Well-known member Jan 17, 2012 #2 Two approaches I can think of: 1) Write some PHP code (as a WP widget) to query the latest threads from the XF database. 2) Use javascript to output the contents of XF's global feed. See this post: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/display-recent-activity-elsewhere.8621/#post-118918 But the global feed only contains thread titles, no excerpts. Here is an addon for a global feed (from before XF had its own global feed) which includes excerpts: http://xenforo.com/community/threads/global-rss-xml-feed.7856/ Upvote 0 Downvote

But I'm a dev and a this is for a client. So, I guess the only way to get it would be to have the client download it and send it to me? Upvote 0 Downvote

jasondpx New member Mar 5, 2012 #10 So, I had the client download it and send it my way. Unfortunately it doesn't work. Here's my issue and maybe someone can give me a hand. It seems the forum RSS feed only pulls the pubdate and not the date/time the thread was last updated, is that correct? If so, how can I pull that info so I can use it? For example, here is my clients forum RSS feed: http://www.diablo3builds.com/forum/forums/-/index.rss Notice all the dates are either Mon, 05 Mar 2012 19:24:01 +0000 or Mon, 05 Mar 2012 18:18:11 +0000 ...which is incorrect. Why is that? Upvote 0 Downvote

Paul B XenForo moderator Staff member Mar 5, 2012 #11 This is not the correct forum for support. You will need to speak to your client to add you to their account so you can access the customer forums. I have closed this thread, feel free to post on the add-on thread once you have access.
