Linode $45M Upgrade (Double RAM + SSD as standard)

Finally! Linode is now offering SSD's (not a hybrid solution as was expected) – and they've even doubled RAM!

Linode doesn't have a 512MB or 1GB option but their plans (2GB +) are now offering more for your money than DigitalOcean!

There's more news, too: mobile responsive design, 40Gbps network connectivity, upgraded processors and hourly billing (launched last week).

Thats hefty, but I'm sure it is worth it to some. I grabbed the $10 plan to check it out but will probably stay with wiredtree at least for the time being.

I love WiredTree for a managed provider and/or if you need cPanel. I do think Linode is the best unmanaged VPS provider out there right now, though.
