Can you limit registration by the domain on an email? Also - it would be nice to be able to send a confirmation email to an email address at a certain extension (for example .edu), but still allow the user to fully manage their account with whatever email address they want. This way, they can confirm they are a student, or whatever, but still use their normal day-to-day email to manage their account once they are confirmed.

If not, is it possible to do role based permissions based on email URL?

Also - are there any plugins or options to automatically add a user to a group based on their email domain?
