XF 1.4 limit forums by User Group

On my website, I'd like to setup a Classified forum allowing limited functionality to the Regular Registered users. Full functionality will be available only to the VIP user group. For limited functionality, I'd like to:

1. remove the posted ads after 7 days
2. allow only 1 ad/post per month

How can I do 1 & 2 above? Thanks.

The classified forum is for users to post advertisements?

Both #1 and #2 require custom programming. You can post a request here:

The XF core doesn't have any forum prune functions?

Are there any add-ons that would do these things?

There is a manual pruning option.

Admin CP -> Applications -> Batch Update Threads

Manual and cumbersome. Not the most efficient way to prune your forum . I'll have to add a suggestion in the XF forum. Hopefully they can add this to the core
