Stop bots from incrementing the view counter.

That is all it does.

I recommend using Install and Upgrade by waindigo or Add-on install & upgrade to install this addon.

How do this work?

It uses the default XF robot list.

If the visitor is classified as a robot, it just silently fails the increment the thread view counter when they visit a thread.

It would be great if you could make this work with the Media Gallery so it stops the increment 'views' from robots.

The major issue is I only have access to XenForo itself, without any of the official addons.

If there is no session, it doesn't consider the visitor a bot. This may need some work to support your case.

• Prevent bots from accessing the non-default 'order' argument for forums.
  • Returns a 403
  • Prevents non-canonical ordering being indexed, and prevents potentially expensive sorting on forums with large numbers of threads.
