Lightbox menu icons may become hidden when there are many images

Steps to reproduce
  1. Access https://xenforo.com/community/threads/many-images-test.232114/ with a sufficiently narrow screen (360px like Samsung Galaxy)
  2. Open the lightbox
  3. Navigate to image #10
Expected Result
All menu icons or at least the close icon are accessible

Actual Result
The close icon is not visible and thus can't be used making it somewhat difficult / unintuitive to close the lightbox.

Not sure yet how to fix this, but the current behaviour is meeh.

The X to close the light box in the media gallery is too far right.

It's very hard to tap, especially on a Galaxy S23 with a curved edge screen.

I have my screen zoom bumped up just one or the text in other apps is a bit too small.

Edit: Had to reluctantly bump it down one since the report to behave with XF, which it does now, but +2 it'd act like what you posted.

It's basically a superset of your bug report:
You reported this for XFMG but the issue is basically FancyBox itself, eg. also exists in core without XFMG.

The root cause is simply that there isn't enough horizontal space to display all icons and the counter (X / Y) if the screen is narrow and there are enough images to display, eg. the counter in the left colum gets wide enough.

This issue most likely won't be visible on Google Pixel or iPhone as those devices have a larger screen ( > 400px; Samsung Galaxy SXX has only 360px)

I reported it for XFMG and RM, not noticing it had an impact on threads with attachments too. Probably why this one is marked Duplicate, as they see it as an XF-wide issue regardless of where reported:

Duplicate Thread 'Android: close-button moves off screen while viewing gallery'

Hi,
a member raised an issue with his Android (Huawei P30Pro, Android11, Emui 12) while viewing pictures.
I asked him to register here and check if he sees the issue here as well. And indeed, it is:

Only one picture:

With two it starts to move off as it shows pagination info:

"11" takes more space than "1" so the button is not accessible at all:

I don't use Android, on iOS it works fine.
Does anybody see the same on his Android or is it specific to this make & model ?
