When a user registers and confirms the email, the user is taken to an almost blank page that only there as a notification that the email confirmation was completed. On this almost blank notification page the new member can choose between two links to continue.
It would be much more effective to let the new member fill in their profile fields right away on the same page.
Not only is this much more effective, it also helps to combat spam. Spammers generally have trouble filling in anything specific to the forum niche content into custom profile fields.
Please add this function as a setting so that webmasters who would like this functionality can activate it.
