Job System by Olakunlevpn - Simple tasks system for forum promotion

The Job System Addon is a powerful extension designed to enhance user engagement and reward participation on your XenForo forum. With this addon, you can create a dynamic environment where users can browse, complete, and submit jobs or tasks to earn rewards. The system provides a seamless way for users to track their submissions and withdraw their earnings while admins maintain full control over job listings, submission moderation, and withdrawal approvals.

Admins can easily create, edit...

I downloaded it. I have a test site I can use to play around with it. I will let you know if I find anything.

@mayahn EDIT:
When you click on Jobs up in the nav, it goes to page. But the board title looks like this:
1729600326902.webp

EDIT AGAIN:
You can only add whole numbers (1.00 or 1) to what to credit. How about being able to do .10 or .85?

I think one more step should be added during the whole take this job process.
1. After the user take this job, admin should approve it.
2. Then the person does the job.
3. Once done, that person uploads image of the job being all done.
4. Then it is marked completed if the admin is happy about the job.

Credits are not being rewarded after job is done. Or does it take sometime?

1) You must edit the HTML in the Add-ons Options: Job System and replace it with your forum name.
2) Currently, you can't offer a job with less than 1 as the reward. However, we are considering adding that option in the future.
3) The admin is only required to approve or decline a job after it has been submitted and taken by a user.

Rewards are instant credit; if that doesn't happen, rebuild your credit caches, and your reward will work perfectly.

I am all for this to be added.

The way it is setup now, once you approve, then the job is complete. Lets see if I can explain it better. Lets say I have a test posting job for 5 posts on a forum.

1. I would make the listing.
2. A member would take the job.
3. Next I would want to approve the person to go a head and start the job. Or decline the person for whatever reason I want.
4. Person that is approved moves on to sign up at the forum and go a head and do the 5 posts.
5. Next that person comes back and now says that he or she is done and uploads an image of the completed work.
6. Now it is time for the admin to mark it as completed and the reward is done.

Something like that I guess.

Rebuilt and it seems to be working after I redid each job.

Instead of paying money for this type of work, is there a way to assign trophies, avatars, etc??
I appreciate your suggestion! In our next release, i’ll consider assigning trophies, avatars, and similar rewards for this type of work. Stay tuned for updates

Thanks for the great suggestion! I will definitely consider adding this in our next release, which is scheduled for next week. I'll also include an option in the Add-on settings to allow admins to decide whether they want to pre-approve jobs or not.

I'm just learning what this addon is for / it's purpose.

So far, Job System doesn't quite fit.

where users can browse, complete, and submit jobs or tasks to earn rewards.

Tasks seems like the important word. Even ToDo ?

Job sounds like work ! and we already have too much of that.

User, community, member - something

Community Task Manager ? Community Contribution Manager ?

Hard to know.

Seems like a great start, regardless of the name !!

EDIT - I see the word job is used as the DEMO allows people to get paid ! pretty great stuff.

The word job can be changed to fit your needs. What I will be doing once it is released. Only issue that may come up, is some of the changes will have to be redone after an update is done. Depending what get edited that is. Take the Take This Job button. It has to be edited in a template and not a phrase. Maybe it is hiding on me. :)
