While poking about with smilies on my development/internal forum recently, I uploaded...... more than 2000 (!) icons to a new category. Which got me curious about something... what's the item export limit?
Turns out, the smiley exporter is limited to 1000 items due to a php configuration setting. So if I wanted to export all 2000+ icons, it will be limited to 1000 at a time in the XML file despite "Select All" being set on all of the icons to the category within the admin panel.
I am posting this as a bug report as the "Select All" option on the Export panel of the smilies section of the website is not explicitly stating/warning or explicitly limiting the selection of selectable smilies/items to 1000 selections - or whatever the limit of

max_input_vars is set to. Without modifying max_input_vars to something higher than the default, it is not possible to export all selected smilies within a single instance. As it currently stands, max_input_vars has to be increased so that the exporter will actually export all checked items. A visual dynamic warning/notice on the various export panels would be ideal in the event that
max_input_vars is going to be reached/exceeded. Otherwise, as it currently stands, if people go to export data into XML files, and it's over the max_input_vars limit, they'll be wondering where all the missing data is at in the future when they originally had thought they "Selected All".
