Is this a viable option to tweet as you post?

As the topic header says, I need a tweet as you post so I'm looking for a viable solution, does anyone think the above is safe or are there alternatives that others use that they could share?

I've previously automated the process by pulling from various forum-level RSS feeds via Hootsuite.com - but stopped the practice after a short while because it was almost spam-link and there was no quality control. I now selectively push out to social media feeds using a combination of Bit.ly (for custom short domain links) and Buffer.com
