The best manual is perhaps the four below:

3. Try and go wild (You must fail.)
4. Ask for feedback when needed
(It's very hard to learn from manuals bacause it's no doing involved by reading them.)

There is more than thousand button and worst part they don't syn, as a new user, some how prefer everything in order and manual (basically we know what we want but without manual, there is no direction) so we know what we looking at and where to solve.
Worst part : under most tab Alphabet is not in order, even a simple SEO function can be locate at (all over admin panel) and deep hide too, that is waste of time on googling or FAQ search.

Actually I think it works surprisingly well, even from day-one, to just ask for where to start looking. New good questions to ask appears from there.
