XF 1.5 Is there a way to turn off the "thread updates since last post" feature?

The only way to "turn them off" is to mark the forums read; otherwise, no, there's no way.

Just to be sure.. I am talking about the little notification that pops up after you post in a thread that says "thread updates since last post" ...
