MG 2.2 Is there a way to have two media gallery sliders on the main forums page?

So, is there a way to have two media gallery sliders on the main forums page, one in the sidebar and the other at the bottom, each one displaying pictures from a different media category? I can only get one location at a time to work.

You need to create two different widgets with different keys, and configure them accordingly.

OK, I got it to work with a sidebar widget (latest media) and a widget below nodes (latest media) which is what I was looking for.

but...

If I wanted to change either widget or both to (random) it does not work correctly, am I missing a setting?

* I have multiple pics in each category.
