Is there a way to grant only one specific mod privilege to one subforum, to one user?

Essentially, we're trying to allow a user to be able to sticky threads, but only in one subforum. We don't want to mod him there or anywhere else if we can help it.

I've been able to find a way to create a user type that can sticky threads, but this grants it across the forums, not just to one subforum. I can also make him a moderator of just the one subforum, though this seems to grant him all privileges of a mod; I can't seem to find a way to a la carte that.

Is there a way to do what we're looking for, or we will need to either/or our current options?

It is done in the node permissions /admin.php?permissions/nodes/.

Click on the forum, at the bottom of the next page enter the member name, then on the next page, set the stick thread permission to Yes.
