XF 2.1 Is the default 'Birthday' widget only viewable if the visitor can view Members?

Just trying to make sure I understand this one... I have the stock Birthday widget being displayed; it shows while I'm logged but not as a guest. I have 'view members' turned off for guests. Is the birthday widget taking that permission into account?

Thanks for confirming. At the moment I'm thinking it'd make more sense for a "Birthday widget" to be based on the individual account security settings (who can view the profile) rather than the 'list' permission so it's one more thing on the To Do list for someday.
