Is it worth asking Dell for compensation?

I purchased a netbook from them. It arrived yesterday and could not detect any wifi networks. I spent over a hour on the phone with them until they decided that it was a hardware fault and they need to send a courier to pick it up. This is quite inconvienent and I was wondering if I should/if it is worthwhile asking for compensation. It seems really poor that they shipped the item faulty.

What do you think? Thanks.

I wouldn't, personally. These things happen from time to time. Just one of those things. They are replacing it for you, so no harm done.

In my experience, a Dell always breaks down (repeatedly, sometimes) when you first get it, but once it's actually working, it's awesome :p

Honestly, yeah, I wouldn't say it's worth asking for that compensation.
