Only administrators can set permissions.
If this is for your own XenForo forum and you want to receive support, you will need to enter your forum user name on your account page.
We have given some of our forums secret forums, this means that the admin has to give all users who want access the access. This is a lot of work
Does anybody have an idea if it is possible for moderators to grant regular users access to private nodes?
Anybody know?
Thank you
I do believe there's an addon that allows you to give moderators permission to grant access to specific forums.

You will need a license or to associate your account to download resources.
Ah, ok. Thank youGet the license owner to add your forum user name to the account, or you will never be able to post in the customer and support forums.
nice! thanks!Waindigo's Join User Group also offers similar functionality:

You can set certain usergroups to be opt-in by the user, with or without moderator approval/control. Then just use membership in that group as a proxy for node permissions.
