I've noticed a few plugins that use the name xen[Etc..]

Is it okay to use this name, or is this reserved for xen supported plugins?

It's fine, although most developers tend to use their own name to give it an identity.

What do you mean by "xen supported plugins"?

He's probably thinking xen supported as in official plugins, from MIKiEr.

Official add-ons I'm guessing (BBS, Resource Manager, etc)

Ah, thanks. I'm old... BBS still means "Bulletin Board System" for me. :X3:
    Cezz and Dodgeboard like this.

To be honest, I wasn't sure if any of the Plug-ins here were "official".
Forums like vB don't allow plug-ins to be added to their board (or at least that's what I remember many years ago), all of the plug-ins were found on the .org site (with some disclaimer that vB doesn't support issues with the plug-ins etc..)

So... I though, since there is currently no .org site for xenForo (although I noticed you've bought that domain ;) ), I thought that some of the plug-ins here might be developed by xenForo developers and possibly supported by XF

(and hence, reserving the name xen[plugin])

No, none of the customer created add-ons here are official or supported by XenForo.com.

There is no equivalent of the vB .org site, everything is being kept in-house on the same site.
