Is it easy to swap from one webhoststie toanother?

I have decided to start a new forum using Xenpro.
My only problem now is chosing a webhost, there are so many.
But If I choose one and say 6 months later, decided I made a wrong choice is it easy to migrate Xenforo to another hoster?

As long as you can get a dump of your web files and database it shouldn't be a problem.

Keep the requirements in mind:

• PHP: 5.6.0+ (PHP 7.2.0+ recommended)
• MySQL: 5.5+ (MariaDB / Percona also compatible)
• PHP extensions: MySQLi, GD (with JPEG support), PCRE, cURL, SPL, SimpleXML, DOM, JSON, iconv, ctype

Make sure to choose some specific web hosting specialized in XenForo (like Todo10) instead of some generic web hosting company so you can make sure the server set up is optimal. Don't pay for too many months, just pay 1 month and check if they are providing a good service before pay too many months upfront.

There's nothing wrong with standard cheap, shared hosting.

Many of our customers use GoDaddy and other well known hosts without issue.

Yeah, oftentimes the "specialized" hosts aren't really anything special, they just know how to market. They might also claim to be "optimized" for Wordpress, Joomla, and whatever else while they're at it, and good SEO has them turning up first in the results when you do a search for something like "Xenforo web hosting."

Do your due diligence now so you don't have buyer's remorse in six months. But yes, if you are not happy later, it is possible without too much headache.

Thanks for that I loked at their pricing, and it seems they are aimed at large forums, well out of my budget. Also they often so many services that it makes it look that running a forum is major hassle, whereas it should be easy in 2020.
