Is any one running your Xenforo forum on dedicated servers of OVH?

Been with OVH since 2012, Had multiple servers/vps's and have had a few issues but to my shock the issues were caught by OVH and fixed before I even caught on.

Had a HDD fail in 2013, Was replaced in under 20 minutes! And last year my PSU gave out and they replaced it in 15 minutes and it was also 4am at the time.

Nothing but happy with them.

I have a dedi from OVH. Eu server. It's fine.

What are its server specs and your websites load fast on that dedicated server?

I agree but it doesn't matter if we use a CDN?

Latency still matter unless you use Cloudflare or Sucuri then doesn't matter much.

Sorry to reopen this thread. But we are looking for a dedi server in Europe preferred Germany.

Yes.
If you don't care about DDOS protection better yet choose Hetzner.

Moved from OVH to Hetzner a few years ago and never looked back.
Yes less locations but what they offer is great value for money and great performance.

Not had a single issue with them for over 5 years now. Can't say that about OVH.
Not like they have had a great year either ROFL

I got back to Hetzner, this time with the Business plan from Cloudflare and an expert that know what he is doing... the forum is faster and works better then ever before.

I use OVH France, have server guy in Italy, off-site backups in Germany, CloudFlare Business Plan, 85% users in UK, 10% USA. Was being attacked every weekend and it was taking me offline and I had customers sites on my server at the time. Switched to this setup and we managed all attacks until they gave up. Brilliant setup.

I don't have a clue about server stuff so needed a guy. Went with a guy who's specialist in Gaming servers because those teams DDOS each other before a big game to try and stop them practicing! Didn't realise it was so competitive and *****y lol

I've concentrated on my forums ever since and never needed to deal with shared hosting or BS from smaller hosting firms since.
