XF 2.3 Is 2.3.0 RC5 the last RC before GM/RTM?

It appears that in the latest fixed bug reports XF is stating

We are aiming to include any changes that have been made in a future XF release (2.3.0).

All previous fixes stated the RC version

Given the number of closed bug reports this weekend, I would probably say odds are in favour for release this week, almost a certainty for next.

The last word on it was 3.0 in 2024 and possibly 3.1 in 2024. I think with the extended delay of 2.3, that 3.1 in 2024 would be a hard push.

It's just a guess but I think 3.0 may already be close to being finished. They've been working on it for quite some time alongside 2.3. If 3.0 is just to include a new style I don't think it will be far behind the 2.3 release. If they change they're mind and decide to add more to it, then I could see a longer delay between the 2.3 and 3.0 release - but still in 2024 for sure.

This is more my concern...

XenForo 2.3 will be released with nearly 500 Bug Reports still active. I know many of them will not effect most sites but it is definitely not a good trend that so many reports are going unfixed and it's getting exponentially worse over the last couple years.

Many of those reports may be mine which would be either totally bogus or incredibly niche or just plain nitpicky.

This isn't lost on us either, and we certainly still have plenty of work to do. At this point most 2.3 bug reports (excluding the backlog from 2.2) are edge cases or otherwise fairly minor, but that's not to say they don't all deserve some love of course.
