XF 1.5 IP Address locked out

One of my moderators has contacted me and said that his IP address has been locked out since last afternoon.

The error message is:

401 Unauthorized
Your IP address is temporarily locked out due to DOS attempts

How do I unlock his IP address and prevent this issue from happening again?

That is coming from the web server, not XF.

You will need to contact your host.
