Hi,
I'm trying to install a fresh copy of 1.15 into a password protected subfolder for testing purposes. I have uploaded the files, added the database in cpannel and the installation begins, writes the config file OK, 'verifys configuration' then after pressing the 'begin installation' button, it waits for a while, then serves my custom http 500 error page.
I suspect an IO problem only because if I look at my cpannel stats after this happens, I can see I have somehow maaxed out my hosts set limit as shown below.
If I leave it alone for a while, it goes back to 0 kbps, and if I empty the database with phpmyadmin then start the step again, it will do the same thing again and io usage is back up again like in the above image.
Is there any way of 'slowing down' the installations actions? or am I barking up the wrong tree here?
