I couldn't find a suggestion about this, so I wanted to bring it forward. I would like to see the ability for xF to grab themes and updates to said themes from a repo. If you wanted to go the extra mile, Addons as well. It would bring much-needed versioning control to xF without having to constantly compile and reupload into xF manually.
If you need an example of other software that does this, a popular one is Discourse. You can build your entire theme in a repo and update it there, and when desired, you can instruct Discourse with a simple click to pull any updates.
