Install on test site, then production site

I'm thinking of buying XF and installing on a test site, give it a workout, then deciding if I want to install on a production site (different domain). Would I be able to move/re-install it? I read somewhere that it's permissible to have XF on a main site and another copy on a test site, but what I'm asking is a little different, almost the other way around. TIA.

Yes, it's simple to move or copy an installation.

Some people install it locally (me included) and then move it to a server.

OK thanks. FWIW I won't be copying the first (test) site, just installing XF on the second (production) site. Wanted to be sure I wouldn't run afoul of any rules.
