Most likely not smth. that is going to be fixed for Froala, but some of our users are complaning about this so might be worth to think about for the new editor:

When inserting an emoji into the editor in WYSIWYG mode via device native input (virtual keyboard, etc.) the emoji is shown in native style before submitting the post - after that post has been submitted the emoji is shown in the selected style (like Joypixels).

This can look quite a bit different, especially regarding people emojis and hair color:

This is :woman: in Windows 10 Chrome native style and Joypixels.

But when inserting an emoji via Smilies toolbar button it will show in the selected style.

It would be nice if the editor would always show the emoji in the configured style, no matter how it is inserted.

Automated triage: Design issue

Thank you for reporting this issue. The editor only shows emoji in the configured style when they are inserted from the smilie menu or emoji shortcode suggestions. Emoji typed from a device keyboard stay as plain text until the post is saved and rendered by the server. Changing that would be a change to how the editor works rather than a bug fix.

This is an automated assessment. A member of staff may review and update it.
