I'm working on a logo for my forum using Inkscape, and I'm trying to follow this tutorial to do something similar.
I have text and a couple objects (shapes) in black that I'd now like to add some color to, and I like the way the tutorial does it. However, when I do the Linked Offset that they mention (in step 3), it doesn't work--nothing happens. Any ideas (or perhaps an alternative coloring option)? Let me know if this would be too hard to explain without my logo and I'll post it, haha.
