ES 2.2 Information: Almalinux 8.10 ES 8.14 won't start service

Running Almalinux 8.09 and then updated to 8.10. ES was 8.13.4 but auto updated to 8.14 overnight.
Service would not start. No info in systemctl status elasticsearch or journalctl -u elasticsearch.service
Rolled back to ES 8.13.4 no problems.. yum install -y --enablerepo=elasticsearch elasticsearch-8.13.4
Looking at ES 8.14 release notes now.

The same thing happened to me when updating ES 8. In Debian 12. In the end I uninstalled ES 8 and installed ES 7.

Woke up this morning to see all my Elasticsearch instances down from overnight, as they have released 8.14 and cPanel automatically upgraded them.

setfacl -m u:elasticsearch:rx /usr/lib/mysql/plugin/auth_pam_tool_dir
