Atlast I'm done with new custom home page for my forum. So today after 2 months, I would like to share my website address and I need honest feedback for my online shopping deal forum.

Website address is :- www.onlinesasta.com (English meaning is online cheap) sasta means buying things for cheap... Concept somewhat is similar to slickdeals.net

I pay my users for posting deals/comments and earn from affiliate marketing

Any comments/suggestions are most welcome

I like the homepage! Is that custom code or an addon?

Its built upon pages, so I can only assume its custom, considering the first line of his post as well.

Custom code.. Designed/Coded by me ... No add-on

Just one issue with home page is that:-

If you will type www.onlinesasta.com then it automatically redirects to http://onlinesasta.com/forum/pages/HomePage/

I actually wanted to create this home page at root (www.onlinesasta.com) but I was not getting xenforo cookie at home page, so I guess it's not possible .. Although I'm not sure, may be some xenforo expert can tell better

Yes used page node .. BTW you and few others helped a lot in understanding how to create custom page node in xenforo .. So thanks to you and all others who helped me in getting comfortable with xenforo

You can use the route changer in the admin panel to partially fix that. Its on the sidebar on the first page.

Find Route: pages/HomePage/
Replace With: HomePage

Ohh I would love to do that... But I'm not able to find route changer in admin panel.. Is route changer available in 1.1.4 coz I'm using that version...

No its in 1.2.

The first time seeing your home page it seems a little bit overwhelming in terms of the amount of pictures that aren't organized in any order and just their in a sigle page. Maybe it's because I'm used to Slickdeals' layout:

You can choose there 3 different layouts, it maybe useful to your users.

Thanks for your feedback .. And you are absolutely correct regarding home page (images looks more crowded)... Even I follow slickdeals but cannot design that home page... I will surely try to improve my home page by making more width and more height so that they dnt luk overwhelming

Will do the changes on weekend and then again seek for feedback from you

Yeah even I think so... Lil bit more customization on home page will make it look more appealing ... If you have any designs/ideas then do share else will try to do some changes by this weekend

Yeah sure bro, I have no issues in sharing but this is not plugin and custom code.. You need to create controller/listener/ and template by yourself. If you are fine with creating everything by yourself then I can share the code with you via personal conversation.
