XF 2.2 Index page route

Basically my homepage is domain.com/home
In order for people to get on the website and be "redirected" to the home page immediately I have set the index page route to home/
This causes issues however in things such as email verification, where it goes domain.com/home/verification etc
I need to remove the /home here, or I need to find another way to redirect people to home by default.

If the URLs in emails are incorrect then it's because the Board URL in the options is wrong.

It should be wherever XF is installed.
