XF 2.1 Increase Cost for user upgrade

Please let me know that If we Increase Cost for user upgrade then what does for old account from Recurring payments? Does this use old amount for user upgrade and does this user Downgraded or upgraded with add new date from Recurring payment?

Existing upgrades will not be affected or changed - the date will remain the same and the recurring cost will remain at the original amount.
