Lack of interest Improve color picker empty background

Having the color picker default to a white background is really irritating. In the default style, it's so subtle that half of the time you don't even spot the color picker, if you don't explicitly expect it there. Especially for new users and users that don't know what the box is even there for, this is very troublesome. This could be improved by adding something that visualizes better what the box is there for, like a color picker icon of some sort. Adding a checkerboard background for empty boxes would also underline better, that it's not actually "white", but "no background" that has been chosen.
