XF 2.1 Imported users names/emails are wrong and duplicated

I was able to get the import to work but the import of users is way over what it should be and I have like 4 of each of a user with +xf, +xf1, +xf2, +xf3 in their email address (name+xf@gmail.com) (name+xf1@gmail.com) (name+xf2@gmail.com) (name+xf3@gmail.com) and each one has a made-up user name like 123me, 123me1, 123me2, 123m3

I did have the boxes checked to prevent duplicate users and emails.

How do I fix this?

Does the forum you imported from allow for the same user name or email address?

Does it have any kind of pseudo account functionality?

I am importing from VB4.2.3 I have done about 4 test imports and every time I do an import it stops and says "Oops define a parent". If then I go and check my Users that important everything is good but there are no forums showing. So then I will try to import again and select new import and choose unselect users from the choices and import and the import imports the users again.

I do not know what pseudo account functionality is?

You can't import over previously imported data - everything will be duplicated.

You need to start again with a brand new installation.

Ok, I understand that now but every time I do the import it stops telling me I need to "define a parent" and then if I check my forum there are no threads or forums there but I have all users and it says there are the right amount of posts.

Ok I got it to work I just did not have the importer import the blogs which there were none on my VB4 with cms.
