Import ID's question

When importing from VB is the option to keep the same member/post ID's recommend if you also want to use redirects or does it not matter either way?

It doesn't matter for redirects.

Using the same IDs can be useful in some situations, like if you have an external application that relies on userids from the vB database then you can preserve those same IDs.
