XF 1.4 Import error from Vbulletin 3.87

I just installed xenforo and I'm trying to import my data from VB 3.87. When I try to do this, I get this error "The table prefix or database name is not correct."

I dont get why though, I'm copying the information straight from my VB config file. So the info is like:
localhost
3306
forumusername_forumusername
password
forum_forum
tableprefix
utf8

those are copied straight from my old config file, but maybe Im copying the wrong thing? I am stuck. Can't find any answers in the forum either, any thoughts? Thanks

The table prefix isn't always required.

You can try entering just user name, password and database name.
