What I would like to do
I would like to be able to create a new resource and then, instead of uploading a file, use an existing attachment. Obviously this would be admin only permissions but would help a great deal with converting from thread -> RM. I've already got the Reassign RM addon which takes care of the rest.
How I would like to see this done
1) Use the Reassign addon to assign Resource to thread
2) Edit Resource and see a new button 'Global Attachments'
3) Select that attachment as the option used for the 'Download Resource' button.
4 - ideal - ) Once the attachment is assigned to a Resource it's automatically removed from the initial post.
Maybe I'm being stupid but I can't imagine this is too hard to create for one of the many talented addon developers out there.
