Yeah, using the attachment manager if I understood your question correctly.

Yes, it can be done via the xf attachment system.

Click -

Select the image.

Once uploaded, you'll see it listed below. You'll be able to select whether you want to insert the image/s as a full size image or thumbnail.

FULL IMAGE INSERTED



THUMBNAIL INSERTED



If the image is not inserted, it will appear at the bottom of the post.

The way I showed you is via the default Xenforo attachment system. No, it isn't a plugin.
