One of the features in vBulletin I make use of is the ability to set the path to different types of images in the stylevars (vb3.8). This means I can drastically improve page loading times by serving up buttons, avatars, icons, status images, etc from different domains / subdomains - this has a very noticeable impact on speed. I'd hope to see this catered for in XF so we can tweak our load times to the max. Ideally attachments and avatars etc as well as the above mentioned image types will all be able to be prefixed with a path.
