XF 1.4 Image not showing in post

A few weeks ago I added an embedded image to a post. I just noticed now that is it not showing and there is x sign there.

Is this anything to do with me enabling proxy links?

No. It sounds like the image is simply not available from the source (or they're doing referrer blocking).

No because if i edit the post you can see the image in the edit screen

Can you provide a demonstration URL?

It could be the image proxy, but you didn't mention enabling that.

Yeah sorry I did enable that at the same time as link proxy. Seemed to have happened at the same time. Shall I disable that?
