I think you need to first upgrade to beta 1 and then to beta 2.

Beta 1 adds some columns in db.

No need to install beta-1. I have made a successful install with using directly beta-2.

So the problem must be something different.

Indeed, I also upgraded from 2.0.5 to 2.0.6b2 without problems.

@Brogan or @Chris D could you try to help the OP?

My add-on is being blamed for this because it's throwing a "Unknown column 'protected' in 'field list'.." error when it does an $user->isChanged('xxx') call to XenForo itself and then tries to save the change $user->save();



And I don't think the OP understands it's not my add-on causing the error, it's just revealing it. Which for the most part is the same thing happening here...
